University of Johannesburg - March
The Human Sciences Research Council’s (HSRC), the Africa Institute of South Africa (AISA) hosted the 2019 Africa Young Graduates and Scholars (AYGS) conference at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) from 18 to 20 March 2019. We were there to present opportunities for Masters and PhD students to study in Hungary.
CPUT - International Exchanges and Scholarships Fair, April
The International Exchange and Scholarship Fair provided a platform for staff and students to meet international and local scholarship organizations and learn about the many study and exchange opportunities.
Morula Study Centre, Education Expo - Time Square Arena, Pretoria
Amazing event at an amazing venue in May. Youngsters from various schools in and around Pretoria explored study abroad opportunities. High School&Career Expo - Forrest Hill Mall, May
The High School and Career Expo is one of the most resilient expos for basic, vocational and tertiary education. The expo tours the biggest malls throughout South Africa to bring students the information they need to make a decision about the future and career. University of the Free State - Scholarship, Exchange and Mobility Fair, May
The first UFS Fair was a huge success with lots of interest from students. The breakaway sessions provided the opportunity for various international education organizations, including the Study in Hungary Centre, to present their university courses and offering in detail. We hope to return next year!
Central University of Technology - Study Abroad Fair, May
The CUT Study Abroad fair allowed students to browse and learn about the different programs and opportunities to study abroad. Due to the nature of the university, engineering, computer science and environmental science related courses were in focus.
MyFuture4.0 - Ticketpro Dome, May
The inaugural My Future 4.0 – Next Level Digital Skills & Careers Summit showed the youth what their future will look like focusing on the impact of the 4th Industrial Revolution on current careers and future jobs.
St. Alban`s College, Pretoria - June
St. Alban`s College is known for presenting students with several opportunities regarding how to further their education, let it be in South Africa or abroad. This small, yet busy fair gave students a good insight on scholarships, vocations, gap year activities and study abroad options.
